WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes has proposed a change to his entrance theme song, “Kingdom” by Downstait. The song gained significant popularity following his return to WWE in 2022. Rhodes specifically wants to alter the intro, which currently reads, “wrestling has more than one royal family.”
Rhodes revealed to Stephanie McMahon on “Stephanie's Places” that the original audio sample was recorded shortly after his initial departure from WWE. The desired change involves his daughter providing the voiceover for the introduction. He wants her to have a positive experience with wrestling.
Rhodes stated that his goal is to have his daughter record the audio sample. He acknowledges that she might not want to do so, but expresses his desire for her to be the voice in the intro to his entrance theme.
“Kingdom” has been confirmed to play at WrestleMania 41, where Rhodes is scheduled to defend his WWE Championship against John Cena. New merchandise referencing this rivalry has already been revealed.
